Ms. Currie is a Georgia native and grew up in the Golden Isles of Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Early Childhood Education, Master’s Degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Early Childhood Education and Specialist’s Degree from Piedmont College in Curriculum and Instruction. She has a Gifted Endorsement and an Instructional Coaching Endorsement. Ms. Currie began her teaching career in Savannah, Georgia. She joined the Cherokee County School District in 2008. She has experience teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. She served as the Instructional Lead Strategist at Indian Knoll Elementary and Assistant Principal at Bascomb Elementary. She was appointed Principal at Boston Elementary in 2023 and is looking forward to many wonderful years as a Boston Bear!
Meg Martin, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Martin was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Georgia in 1986. She is a Woodstock High School alumni and graduated from Reinhardt University in 2004 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Her experience in education started with earning certification from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Special Education through Lamar University. Ms. Martin has her reading and dyslexia endorsements. She has been in the field of education for 18 years in Cherokee County. Not only has she taught all elementary grade levels, but she’s also served as a Special Education Facilitator in elementary, middle, and high school.
Ms. Martin married her high school sweetheart, Casey, and they have a daughter named Gwendolyn. When not at work, Mrs. Martin enjoys spending time with her family and black lab, Gertrude, hiking/athletics, arts/crafts, reading, and the pool.
She is looking forward to partnering in fostering a positive school environment that ensures successful and happy students and teachers!
Kristin Mondich, TSA Administration

Mrs. Mondich was born in raised in Marietta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. She went on to obtain her Master’s degree from Walden University and Specialist’s degree from Lincoln University, both in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Mrs. Mondich has her Reading, Math, Gifted, and ESOL endorsements and obtained her Leadership Certification from West Georgia. She started her career in the Bartow County School District, but has spent the last six years in Cherokee County. She has experience teaching Kindergarten, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grades. She is excited to join the Boston Administration team this year!
