A video recording of the panel presentation, featuring Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis, Police Chief Buster Cushing and staff, Chief School Leadership and Operations Officer Dr. Debra Murdock and staff, and Cherokee Sheriff Frank Reynolds, now is posted online here.

Cherokee County School District students topped state averages and improved performance on math sections of the Georgia Milestones End-of-Grade and End-of-Course tests, mirroring the success achieved in other subjects announced this summer.
The Cherokee County School Board on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 heard a report on current safety and security systems and practices and reviewed the school district’s progress in accomplishing its Key Priorities for elevating the excellence in all areas.
